I have been asked who the Dictionary of Man is for and it’s clear that it has to be for everybody because it is about everyone.
There are several hundred, core groups of people… …outside of them 27,000 perhaps more sub groups.
Nation, clan, tribe, family and individual.
I want to attempt to log mankind ...all of us, this great enormity there in front of you on your computer screen.
A living breathing website in as much as the planet lives and breathes.
With software that I’ve seen that is simply incredible to someone now living at the beginning of the 21st century.
We’ve just simply arrived at a key point in human history at the beginning of the 21st Century where new technology has allowed us to involve everyone of this great mapping of ourselves.
We can now converse with this media. Now for the first time it becomes a dialogue.
And I’ve tried to do this before in my past as some of you know with Live Aid and Live8 and things like that where we’ve talked about something and had response to it. This can happen now in real time but with every single human being on the planet. That’s kind of big.
We need every single human being that’s alive on the planet if we intend to map all of mankind, and so that means you and we need you to contribute we need you to come onto the site and tell us about yourself, tell us about your family, tell us about your histories and be part of this massive experiment that we all want to create together.
